Plans, Bands, and Rubber Bands

I am going up tomorrow to pick up a load of Onions in order to take those onions to another driver and give those stinky things to him and get a load of something else that will run me towards home. Cool and fun at the same time. It would be more cool if it were to be happening oh, I don't know, where it is not freaking snowing and blowing like hell. That's ok though...I will get home eventually whether they like when or not.

I have been rocking and bopping around on Myspace looking at all the bands that I used to watch in High School and college. Can't believe that the punk rock bands at the local club are not only together but playing gigs. Check out, Midlife Chrysler, Channel Three, Stepmothers, Simpletones, Gigantor. They are something and the music was really good. Or I was really drunk...which I was, but it sounded good anyway. Late...Oh, Rubber bands...boing! Dedication "^)

Kearney, Snow, and The Chance Of Redemption`

I was on I-80, talking to my wife and I hung up with her in order to pull in to the truck stop here in Kearney. I pulled in, and called my wife back and all of a sudden...snow and its blowing. Good thing I had enough miles in...I shouldn't say that as we will find out tomorrow whether the miles I did were enough. Time to sleep for now. I will report the massive snow drifts if they are there tomorrow. Dedication:+)

Zoooooom!

Since my last missive...I hauled a short little load from Budweiser to Sheboygan, WI. I am a beer guy. If you drank any beer brewed by G. Heileman in the 70's or 80's you would have noticed a Sheboygan on the label list of breweries. This was the original home of Kingsbury Brewing Company. Their Near beer was what I saw the most in California but they were well known for a fine lager as well. I doubt you can find that beer any more. Beautiful country up there though. I drove through the tornadoes in Kenosha, WI to get there. It isn't how it sounds. I got there after the tornado had gone through. As far as I am concerned, I give tornadoes the right of way by a long shot...

Now I am headed to SLC for Friday and have to get the heck moving as I am due to arrive on time in spite of the fact that I am heading towards a nice little storm. Yeah, you know, the little storm that wreaked all that havoc on California? I'm going there...oh Joy! Dedication:C

Waiting and Waiting

Just sitting here in Jamestown at the TA. There is no load available yet or some such nonsense. Really, it means that in spite of the fact that I have been driving this load for 5 days, there have been no plans made for my next trip. There never is...

The weather is rather nice and warm and I am hoping in holds out. I have purposely only ran 8 hours a day to stay in the east moving warm spot. Yesterday, I was in Indiana and the attendant there told me that two weeks prior that there was 2 feet of snow on the ground. No sign of it yesterday though. Well, My quaalcomm has beeped and it looks like I am going to get busy. Dedication:)
